Who we are:
BASELINE is an independent, lifestyle-focused quarterly magazine for people living with and affected by HIV and hepatitis. The magazine is also read by professionals providing support and services to the HIV positive community. This includes hundreds of doctors, nurses and voluntary sector workers. BASELINE has a network of journalists across the UK. Since launch on World AIDS Day 2009, BASELINE has distributed over 130,000 magazines.
Who is our audience?
Up to the end of 2009, there were 86,500 people living with HIV in the UK. During 2009, 6,630 people were newly diagnosed HIV positive. In 2009, 65,319 HIV positive people were seen for HIV care in the UK, representing an increase of 7% on 2008 and a 250% increase on 2001. HIV is fastest rising in the over 50s and there has been a dramatic increase in the proportion of heterosexuals who were diagnosed HIV positive as a result of sex in the UK.
Who publishes BASELINE?

What makes us unique?
Many of our writers are living with HIV. Our team has extensive experience working across the HIV sector, from the leading HIV charities, HIV clinics and in the pharmaceutical industry.
BASELINE provides its readers with up-to-date information on HIV and hepatitis treatments; UK, global and healthy living news and news-led features
Most importantly, BASELINE has provided a platform for the voices of real people living with HIV to be heard through a series called myline.
We’re not just a magazine, we encourage meaningful interaction with our readers. Join the debate online by posting a comment or sending us a suggestion for what you would like to see in the magazine. Write a myline to express your experience or views. Tell us about an event you are having. Invite us. We just might come along and we guarantee you wont forget us.
